Hi, I'm researching old dump sites in northeastern Ohio and I have run across a reference to an industrial drum disposal site near Yankee Lake (near the actual lake). The file refers to it as the "Yankee Lake Drum Site" but has no location information. The site supposedly collected waste from 1963 until around 1980. I don't know what happened after that, whether it was cleaned up or not. Much of the waste was some sort of graphite-based sludge in drums, possibly related to a Howe Industries. Other names noted in file are Donald Kreck, and Swogger-Shinglebecker. Thanks.
